Family Holiday to Mallorca - The Journey and settling in

We have not blogged since 2019 but thought we would give it a go on our family holiday to Mallorca. We travelled up to Gatwick on Friday evening and checked our luggage in at the deserted baggage drop.

Then checked into the Premier Inn

An early start for a 8 10 flight - our teminal was of course the longest walk but we got a view of our 787 from the bridge

Boarded on time and we settled into our seats

Andy asked for some sick bags saying the girls were a liitle apprehensive and the super flight attendant offered to let the girls see the cabin and talk to the Captain to reassure them: amazing!

Push push back a little late and a queue to take off, but a stong tail wind meant an early landing. However all this lost in a VERY long wait for baggage. An efficient coach transfer got us to our hotel in Cala D'or and we spent the afternoon exploring and eating!
