Off to Cyprus

Up at 4 am for our 7 15 am flight to Larnaca in Cyprus.Terminal 5 is fairly civilised and we board easily. Boarding was delayed by a loose carpet (good excuse!)  and then take off was delayed by the French strikes(!?). So we took off 45 minutes late but all of this was made up by a 90mph tail wind. Total time in the air was just under 4 hours. Picture shows our first view of Cyprus.

Find our pre booked mini bus with trailer for the shortish trip to our hotel; mostly on deserted dual carriageway.

We just went to the first one we saw and were not disappointed! Then we had to try the local ice cream shop which proved another hit: excellent value at 1.50 euro each!

Then a stroll along the Boardwalk before back to the hotel for an early night after a long long day!
