Off to Heathrow

First leg of our journey to Protaras, in Cyprus via Heathrow and Larnaca

We don't like Heathrow but the flight options were much better than Gatwick and it is better for the Steeles!

Tried the Rail Air and it worked OK, but we have just found out that it is now only an hourly service - take note SWT and update your timetable!

Luckily by chance we arrived at Woking in time for the hourly bus and had an easy journey to Terminal 5. traffic on the M25 was heavy but just about moving.

Booked into to the Sofitel, had a coffee and sandwich, and then looked around terminal 5 to see where we drop our bags at some ungodly time tomorrow morning!

Back to the room for an early night: B all on telly!

The Hotel is right at the take off end of the airport but the design is clever and the rooms look over an enclosed courtyard. Ours looks over the Zen garden!

Up at 5 am tomorrow for our 7 10 am flight!
