Florence

Another dry and sunny but chilly day, only getting up to 20c from a low of 5c!

So across the road from our hotel to Pisa Centrale Station for the one hour train trip to Florence. Good value by UK standards at E8.40 each way per adult. No cheap day returns in Italy!

We had hoped that Florence would not be too busy this early in the season but no, it was full of tourists.

We walked for hours around the city, only stopping for an excellent ham focaccia roll, and here are some pictures we took:
