Lazy Sunday - or not!

Our first full day was meant to be a lazy relaxing day but we seemed to be on the go all day. We had breakfast in our room: we have a fridge and a hotplate for limited cooking but fine for breakfast. There is also an on site shop for breakfast type items.

Emma wanted a sea swim so we all went off to the nearest sandy beach which is not far from our rooms. Emma led, but evenually all the adults were in except for Island Girl. Island Boy had his first sea swim for 9 years and really enjoyed it!

By now the hotel pools had opened so we adjourned to them!

 The Oldies left the kids at the pool and we had a walk and explore around Cala d'Or.

The aim of the explore was to get to the next bay, Cala Gran

Back to the hotel for a light(ish) lunch in the Hotel Snack Bar

Then rather than a pud we opted for ice creams in the town: good value at 3 euro for a good sized scoop!

Then foolishly we decided to show the kids where we walked in the morning. By now it was pretty hot (25c ish) and bright sun so we needed our siesta when we got back. To wake us up we needed a swim and opted for the indoor pool which was virtually empty and no hot sun to annoy us!

Then dinner at Paparazzi Restaurant: excellent meal!

Eva opted for a build youself pizza and got a chef's hat to wear as she added the toppings!

Then to walk off dinner we walked to yet another sandy cove, Cala Ferrera

and rouned off the day with a couple of frames of pool!

Will try to be more relaxed on Monday!
