Fire up the XLi Part 2

For our second afternoon out in our hire car we decided to go North to Little Bay. We headed for the Bridgetown bypass then up Highway 2a before taking to the bye roads off to the north east. Just before we reached our destination a local tried to wave us down. Apparently they then demand $20.00 for directions! We are pleased to say we did not fall for it! the best way to describe what we saw is in pictures:

Managed to catch the blow holes in action!

We all had a good look around and Liza had time for a swim before we set off to the west coast and Smiton's Bay

Then on to the fishing town of Speightstown

Then towards Holetown passing the famous Mullin's Bay on the way

Mullin's Bay

Holetown with its quaint tourist shops in little huts....

...and big undercover 'market'.

Looked hopeful but still looking for that shirt!

Then back to Accra in time to meet the Steeles and drive down to Worthing Beach for an evening meal at Caribs on the beach.

After all that driving the XLi needed refuelling: they still serve you in Barbados!
